AutoCAD: Selecting Lines, Curves and etc.

Selecting Lines, Curves and etc.

1. From Left to Right

When selecting objects from left to right, only objects inside the box will be highlighted. This means that the 100% of the object body should inside the selection box to highlight it. So if there are objects you don't want to select it is not necessary to avoid them from touching the selection box, just keep some part outside.




2. From Right to Left

Objects touches by the selecting box will be highlighted. It is not necessary to put the whole object inside the selection box. Just let the box touch the object and it will be highlighted.




3. Shift + Select

Select - from left to right/ from right to left/ click. Shift + Select is use to deselect highlighted objects. So if you want to remove objects highlight just press shift and select.
